			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m now several failed attempts in to starting a blog.  For me, its really a technical issue &#8211; what platform to use?  Sure, there&#8217;s plenty of blogging platforms that would meet my needs &#8211;  but I&#8217;m always looking to try something new, and (as a developer) I always lean towards the host-it-yourself install-it-yourself variety.  So I&#8217;ll try one platform, ditch it, try another, ditch it, etc.  I&#8217;m starting to use Ruby on Rails, so it follows that I&#8217;m now trying <a href="http://www.mephistoblog.com">Mephisto</a>.  Looks good so far&#8230;</p>
<p>So since I&#8217;ve never generated anything of note with my previous blogging attempts, I&#8217;m not bothering with any imports.  So here I go blogging, again.</p>
