For me, its really a technical issue – what platform to use? Sure, there’s plenty of blogging platforms that would meet my needs – but I’m always looking to try something new, and (as a developer) I always lean towards the host-it-yourself install-it-yourself variety. So I’ll try one platform, ditch it, try another, ditch it, etc. I’m starting to use Ruby on Rails, so it follows that I’m now trying Mephisto. Looks good so far…

So since I’ve never generated anything of note with my previous blogging attempts, I’m not bothering with any imports. So here I go blogging, again.
